Cooked it in a pot for 20 minutes and it makes 10-12 cups! I am so excited to have this on hand of I am hungry and don't know what to eat! Better than my go to cereal!!
This morning for breakfast we made carrot, orange, spinach and berry nutribullets with almonds, walnuts and goji berries. Smoothies aren't ideal on whole30 because they are mostly made with fruit, which is pure sugar, so I made sure this was more vegetables than fruit. Nuts are very fatty so although they are an approved food, it is important to portion control these. We alsoade scrambled eggs with tomato, spinach and avocado. We ate at 10am and it is now 3pm and I still full. I have never felt this full from one meal before and I have not worried about measuring or weighing my food and I feel fabulous! I feel awake and energized and not hungry. I haven't been snacking, grazing or picking or even thinking of opening the fridge! I love this feeling and hope this stays like this for the full 30 days and beyond! I did make Ryan gluten free pancakes to supplement his breakfast becaiE he so nicely asked me too bit he was really good and didn't offere any pancakes, even after telling me they were the best pancakes I have ever made! Iadw th with gluten free flour, almond milk, egg, baking soda and vanilla extract. Not whole30 friendly.
The fridge is stocked for the week with delicious vegetables! Good thing Ryan is leaving Wednesday for the week because there's no room for anything else! Tonight I am making salmon with a mango and avocado salad and brussel sprouts with bacon! Sounds delicious.
